Educational Focus

Core Teaching Responsibilities
- Create visually engaging and accessible curriculum presentations
- Implement differentiated instruction based on individual munication needs
- Coordinate with audiologists and other hearing professionals
- Support language development across multiple modalities
- Facilitate peer interactions and social skill development
- Engage families in educational planning and home support strategies
- Document student progress and maintain special education pliance
Credential Requirements
- Master's degree in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education or related field
- Valid Michigan DHH teaching certification or endorsement
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience with deaf and hard of hearing students
- American Sign Language skills highly valued
- Knowledge of hearing assistive technology and munication devices
- Strong virtual teaching platform proficiency
