Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is an experienced Interim Director of Nursing (RN) to oversee nursing operations within a skilled nursing facility. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and managing nursing staff and clinical workflows in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations of the nursing department
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow efficiency
- Oversee resident care planning, implementation, and outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams
- Promote a culture of patient safety, accountability, and clinical excellence
- Address clinical and operational challenges in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact state (required)
- Prior leadership experience in Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills
- Ability to manage short-term or interim assignments effectively
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced clinical environment
