Company Description: We are a growing real estate investment company that specializes in commercial and residential properties. Our portfolio includes properties across several states, and we are looking for a Real Estate Loan Servicing Clerk to join our team.
Job Description:
The Real Estate Loan Servicing Clerk interacts with real estate investment borrowers in areas like loan servicing, payment processing and Customer Service. The ideal candidate would be detail oriented with the ability to think logically through the loan process and operations and with a desire to learn. Advancement opportunities available.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure all loan closing packages are complete and error free.
- Entering borrower payments into mortgage software and providing distribution report to accounting
- Making Lender and Vendor payments using Bank ACH Software.
- Generate Borrower and Lender Statements.
- Generate Loan Payoff Statements as requested from Borrowers.
- Responds to Borrower requests and questions in a timely manner.
- Processes Rehab Escrow Draws.
- Generate and respond to Late Payment Notices and Loan Extension Notices.
- Any additional tasks assigned by supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Intermediate Math understanding and ability to logically think through processes.
- Ability to interpret legal documents such as real estate notes, deeds, title policies, and closing docs.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Knowledge of The Mortgage Office (TMO) a huge plus.
- General knowledge of payment collections.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent Interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Full-Time, Open to Part-Time Availability

- Starting at $18 an hour based on experience.
