A contract opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) care is available in the Aurora, CO area. This role involves providing critical perioperative nursing care within a busy, state-of-the-art main operating room specializing in complex procedures including total joint replacements, spine surgeries, transplant operations (kidney and liver), robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastic surgeries.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the operating room before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural success.
- Manage preoperative and postoperative patient assessments, monitoring, and documentation using Meditech EMR.
- Maintain strict adherence to unit guidelines, policies, and sterile technique protocols.
- Support surgical teams during a variety of specialized surgeries including transplants and robotics.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Active RN license.
- Specialized skill set in transplant nursing required.
- Minimum of 3+ years of operating room experience preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CNOR) highly desirable.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts with availability for night and weekend call.
Schedule:
- 12-hour day shifts
- Additional night and weekend call as required
