Account Manager
Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person
Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000 per year
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Job Summary
Are you passionate about serving your community and improving access to quality care for older adults? We're seeking an Account Manager to lead outreach and referral-building efforts for a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). This role is ideal for a bilingual Spanish speaker with a strong background in healthcare business development, community engagement, and strategic relationship building.
Key Responsibilities

Educate community members, providers, caregivers, and local leaders on the PACE program, its unique benefits, and eligibility criteria.

Build and manage a network of referral sources through presentations, events, and ongoing relationship management.

Collaborate with intake and provider relations teams to ensure referrals and enrollments are processed efficiently and in compliance with regulations.

Track leads, manage a robust outreach schedule, and continuously evaluate strategies to maximize enrollments.

Represent the organization at community events, support marketing and educational initiatives, and assist in the development of outreach materials.

Maintain detailed records of all outreach activity in the appropriate CRM or data management systems.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:

Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle (travel is frequent – 80% of the time).

Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Must not be a current or former licensed broker for Medicare/Medicaid.

Comfortable with extensive in-field work and community-based engagement.
Education & Experience:
-
Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
-
Minimum 2+ years of experience in healthcare outreach, business development, or sales, preferably in MLTC, MAP, PACE programs, or homecare.

Strong knowledge of community-based long-term care services for dual-eligible and frail populations.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook; Excel preferred. CRM/database experience a plus.
Other Preferred Skills:

Excellent public speaking and communication skills.

Familiarity with New York City’s healthcare landscape.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Knowledge of CMS, DOH, and PACE regulatory guidelines a plus.
Work Environment & Conditions

Primarily field-based with extensive travel across NYC boroughs.

Mix of indoor office work and outdoor community events, sometimes in varied weather.

Some nights and weekends for events and outreach may be required.
