The RN Supervisor for the Patient Access Center is responsible for the remote management of patient admissions, transfers, and bed assignments to optimize hospital operations. This position demands strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and leadership skills to oversee patient flow while assisting both patients and healthcare professionals. Applicants must hold a valid RN license, possess relevant clinical experience, and live within proximity to a designated hospital for occasional in-person support.

This Role is Fully Remote:
- A reliable high-speed internet connection is essential.
- Candidates must live within one hour of a designated hospital to ensure availability for on-site support in case of technical issues.
Position Details:
Remote RN Supervisor Opportunity
Non-Patient Contact Role | Must Reside Within 1 Hour of a Designated Hospital
Shifts:
- Evenings - 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts
- On-Call (Minimal weekdays & 2 weekend shifts within 6 weeks)
About Us:
Our organization’s HUB—also referred to as the Patient Placement and Staffing Center, Throughput Center, or Transfer Center—is a vibrant, centralized team that provides support in:
- Patient Placement & Bed Management
- Nursing Staffing & Logistics
- Coordination of Patient Transfers into Our Hospitals (East Region)
Our HUB nurses operate remotely using phone and computer technology to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
This Role is Fully Remote:
- A high-speed internet connection is required.
- Candidates must reside within one hour of one of the following locations to allow for on-site presence if technical difficulties arise:
- Location A
- Location B
- Location C
- Location D
- Location E
- Location F
Qualifications for Success:
- RN License – A current RN license in the state of Missouri is mandatory.
- Experience – At least 3 years of RN experience, including a minimum of 1 year in Telemetry or higher. Preferred: 3 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in Critical Care or Emergency Room settings.
- Certifications – BLS certification is required.
