Kingswood Senior Living is seeking a dynamic Director of Active Living to lead resident engagement, wellness programming, and life enrichment initiatives across our community, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing.
This leadership role oversees the Active Living team, Fitness Coordinator, and Transportation Department while developing innovative programs that enhance resident quality of life.
The Director of Active Living ensures programming supports the Eight Dimensions of Wellness and meets applicable regulatory expectations for higher levels of care. The position also facilitates resident committees, oversees the Independent Living monthly newsletter, and serves as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, collaborating with department leaders to enhance the overall resident experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of experience in senior living, long-term care or life enrichment programming.
- Bachelor's degree in recreation therapy, gerontology, social work recreation administration or human services.
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience in working with memory care or dementia programming.
