Lighthouse Electric provides hands-on work experience to college students and post high-school individuals through our internship program. Interns are given the opportunity to work on actual projects in various departments throughout the company, developing skills and knowledge relevant to the construction field.
Lighthouse Electrics internship program is more than just a summer job. It is a professional and educational program that prepares students for a successful transition to a rewarding postgraduate career.

Lighthouse is looking for ambitious individuals who want to make a difference in their community and in themselves. Our ideal internship candidates are:
- Enrolled at a four-year institution or two-year technical school - or have a High School diploma/GED
- Majoring in or is interested in Accounting, Business, Corporate Communications, Computer Aided Drafting & Design, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, Marketing, Human Resources, Safety, or Supply Chain Management
- Proactive, open-minded, eager to learn and contribute their ideas, and willing to work as part of a team.
Lighthouse currently is accepting strong candidates to assist with the following teams:
- Project Management
- Planning/Layout/Design (Construction Planning)
- Virtual Design Construction
- Information Technology

- Scheduling
- Estimating
- Electrical Engineering
- Supply Chain
- Accounting/Cost Control

Duration of Internship & Expected Work Hours:
Anticipated Start Date: May 18th 2026
8-12 Weeks; Monday-Friday 7:00a-3:30p (hours varies depending on role/team)
Location: Canonsburg, PA, Columbus, OH, Richmond, VA, & Various Job Sites
