We are seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Medical Assistant to support our surgeon and clinical team. This role involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities, with a strong emphasis on surgical assisting, patient care, and maintaining a smooth workflow in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon during in-office procedures and minor surgeries
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and treatment rooms
• Room patients, take vital signs, and document medical histories
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education and care instructions
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper stock levels
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
• Assist with scheduling, charting, and general office support as needed

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent experience preferred
• Prior experience in a surgical or plastic surgery setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Professional demeanor and commitment to patient confidentiality
