Tarkett Sports Construction - Northwest, Inc. dba Benchmark Contracting Inc. is looking for a Financial Controls & Accounting Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of accounting and financial functions for this $20 million+ construction company.

This is an onsite position located in West Linn, Oregon

Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations with Foundation Software. Work with other accounting team members on a daily basis, audit transactions related to the general ledger, AR, AP, job costing, and payroll.
• Cash flow management.
• Work-in-process reporting.
• Oversee accounts receivable and payroll (this work will be performed by another staff member).
• Prepare monthly payment applications, lien waivers, and account receivable invoices.
• Update project budgets and subcontractors' contract sums.
• Process change orders for subcontractors.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Quarterly tax reporting.
• Reconcile company bank accounts at the end of the month.
• Produce end of month financial statements for accurate reporting and forecasting to our parent company.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Enroll in Owner Controlled or Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIP and CCIP).
• Monthly reporting for worker's compensation and general liability insurance.
• Maintain state registrations and business licenses.
• Other general office and administrative tasks.

​Qualifications:

• 5 Years previous experience in professional accounting and bookkeeping in the commercial construction industry.
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools.
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Be self-motivated and have the ability to take initiative to complete tasks.
• Public notary.
