Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to cover leave assignments in an elementary school setting serving kindergarten through 6th or 8th grade students. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to support students communication development in Roseville, MN.
Ideal candidates will hold a Minnesota Department of Education SLP license and possess credentials such as CCC-SLP or be in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Experience working with school-aged children in elementary settings is preferred. Strong assessment, intervention, and collaboration skills with educators and families are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in K-6th or K-8th grade
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to students unique communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
Qualifications:
- Minnesota Department of Education Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status preferred
- Experience working within school-based settings with elementary-aged children
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
