Job DescriptionSalary: $23 - $25
JOB PURPOSE:
We are looking for an energetic, fun employee to join our growing team. This person will be able to assist in all aspects of our main office, which includes multiple corporate entities and divisions. Duties include, but are not limited to, customer relations and sales, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory management, and human resources. Ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience working in an office and an accounting department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Answer phone calls and emails, and direct as needed
- Assist with all departments to offer coverage to achieve optimal work-life balance and office efficiencies. Including but not limited to
- Deposit, post, and reconcile customer payments
- Data entry, posting, and reconciling of accounts payable
- Create customer invoices for gravel, concrete, concrete pumping, precast, showroom, and contracted jobs.
- Journal entries
- Contribute to special projects as assigned, such as:
- Cost analysis
- Audit support
- Year-end financials
- Facilitate the orientation and onboarding of new employees and logo wear
QUALIFICATIONS IN ORDER TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- An associate's degree or higher in accounting is preferred
- Basic analytical business math skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- 1-2 years of office and customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
- Preferred ERP accounting software experience
- Ability to organize, adapt, and work in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Demonstrate high motivation as a self-starter who can work independently to manage workload
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement
- Demonstrate proper phone etiquette; use a multi-line phone system.
