A K-12 school in Camp Lejeune, NC, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a contract position for the current school year. This role offers flexibility to work virtually or onsite, supporting a diverse student population to promote their academic, emotional, and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide counseling and behavioral interventions to support student well-being
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs and promote a positive learning environment
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to support student success
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in both virtual and onsite environments
