Job DescriptionWe have a great client that is looking for a Phlebotomist in Milford, MI!This is a 13-week contract with a pay rate up to $20.35 per hour.
Job Summary:
Under general supervision and according to specified procedures, performs routine laboratory activities such as patient receiving, venipuncture, computer data entry, and other related duties including lab clinical functions.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate can see 30 – 60 patients a day.
- Must be comfortable with large draws
- Must be able to use straight needles, location does not use butterfly needles
Requirements:
- 6 months to one year on the job experience in venipuncture required.
- Previous computer experiences preferred.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Completion of Medical Assistant or Certified Phlebotomy training program preferred.
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Michigan Driver's license and the ability to be insured by a HFMG Insurance Carrier.
- No candidates with plasmapheresis background
