Summary:
- Provides administrative support to assigned customers and collaborates with Distribution Center management to ensure accurate warehouse and system transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and complete receiving reports by matching receiving documents with purchase orders in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Update databases with inbound receiving discrepancies.
- Run and reconcile shipping, receiving, and adjustment reports between WMS and ERP systems; perform corrections as required.
- Research and provide Proof of Delivery (POD) for customer inquiries.
- Contact vendors to resolve invoice disputes.
- Maintain timecard entries for Distribution Center personnel.
- Answer and route phone inquiries appropriately.
- Support new hire onboarding and HR administrative tasks as needed.
- In absence of DC Supervisor: Update Daily Status Report, assist with third-party billing, and process productivity reports.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of office and/or customer service experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build rapport with customers.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Primarily office-based within a distribution center. Regular sitting, computer use, and phone communication. Moderate noise environment.
