Job Description
This role involves accurately picking orders in a large, fast-paced warehouse using an RF scanner and moving products to the shipping and staging areas with a push cart, pallet jack, or forklift. You will handle a wide variety of products and are expected to meet and improve upon daily picking targets as you become more comfortable with the processes and systems.
Responsibilities
- Use an RF scanner to locate, pick, and confirm products for customer orders.
- Move products from storage locations to the shipping and staging areas using a push cart, pallet jack, or forklift.
- Handle a wide range of products, including cases of water bottles, metal housings for PLCs, and computer and electronic parts.
- Meet initial productivity expectations of approximately 100 picked lines per shift, increasing to 150–175 lines per shift as proficiency improves.
- Maintain accurate inventory handling by scanning items correctly and following established picking procedures.
- Follow all safety guidelines while operating material handling equipment and moving products throughout the warehouse.
- Support shipping operations by staging picked orders in the correct areas for processing and outbound shipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding order issues, inventory discrepancies, or equipment needs.
- Demonstrate consistent attendance, a positive attitude, and professional communication in daily work.
- Contribute to a clean and organized warehouse by keeping aisles, work areas, and equipment tidy.
Essential Skills
- Experience with order picking in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Ability to use an RF scanner for order picking and inventory tasks.
- Capability to safely operate or learn to operate pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Ability to walk and stand for an entire shift in a large warehouse environment.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Strong attendance, reliability, and willingness to commit to long-term employment.
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills with coworkers and supervisors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks in a warehouse setting.
- Prior experience with picking, packing, inventory, and shipping tasks.
- Interest in long-term growth and advancement within a warehouse or distribution operation.
- Willingness to be trained on additional equipment and processes as needed.

Work Environment
This position is on second shift, typically from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with current mandatory overtime extending the shift to approximately 10:00 p.m. The warehouse is large, around 125,000 square feet, and you will walk up and down aisles for most of your shift while handling products and fulfilling orders. You will use RF scanners, push carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts (with training provided if needed) to perform your work. The environment is active and fast-paced, with a strong focus on safety and productivity.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
