Licensed Social Worker / Licensed Professional Counselor

Job Description

Seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time role in a correctional facility's medical department in McElhattan, PA.

• Conducts clinical assessments, including mental status exams, diagnoses, and treatment planning, with referrals to psychiatry as needed.
• Performs risk assessments for suicide and self-harm, managing at-risk inmates according to protocols.
• Serves as the mental health liaison, facilitates inmate admissions to forensic hospitals, and monitors mental health services for quality compliance.
• Participates in quality assurance, develops educational programs, and prepares monthly performance reports.
• Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Requirements include active licensure in PA, a master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field, and at least two years of experience.
