Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid: 2 days in office)
Compensation: $110,000 - $160,000
The Role
We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our established South Orange County firm. At the core of our practice is a commitment to the "Long-Term View." We don't just process returns; we serve as year-round advocates for our clients, helping them navigate the complexities of tax law to achieve their multi-generational financial goals. You will lead client engagements with a focus on precision, foresight, and personalized service.
Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Strategy: Oversee the preparation and review of sophisticated tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.

High-Touch Consulting: Provide proactive tax planning that aligns with long-term wealth preservation and business growth strategies.

IRS & State Representation: Act as the primary point of contact for clients during audits or correspondence with taxing authorities.

Relationship Management: Maintain deep, consultative relationships with a diverse client base, ensuring we remain their most trusted financial resource.

Team Leadership: Mentor staff and contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal workflows and technical standards.
Requirements

Experience: Significant experience in public accounting, specifically in tax planning and compliance for HNWIs and small-to-medium businesses.

Education: Active CPA license required.

Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to explain complex tax concepts in an accessible way.
