Do you have experience working with children? Are you flexible and able to jump right into a classroom? Northstar Academy is currently seeking applicants for substitute teacher positions. We are a private non-profit day school for students with disabilities, ages 5-21. Northstar is fully committed to providing an individualized education to a diverse population of students.
Applicants must be 18 years old, hold at least a high school diploma, have two (2) years of full time postsecondary education or experience with children with disabilities and understand the school's policy and procedures. A Criminal and Child Protective Services background check is required.
Pay: $125.00 per day $71.00 for a half day
Monday through Friday - Scheduling done in advance whenever possible; on-call for same day assignment.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Morning: 7:30AM to 11:30AM
- Afternoon shift : 11:30AM to 3:30PM/dismissal
- On call
We will work with you regarding your availability - can't do Wednesdays? Morning only? Speak with us and we will accommodate you as best we can and as is practical based on student/school needs.
