Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist position is available for a full-time contract role based onsite in Aurora, CO. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed professional with a deep commitment to supporting the educational and emotional needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' learning and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and behavioral support to students.
  • Offer consultation and training to staff on psychological best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Professional Special Services License issued by the Colorado Department of Education.
  • Strong interview skills with the ability to articulate experience and expertise clearly.
  • Energetic and positive demeanor aligned with the needs of a dynamic school environment.
  • Experience managing a caseload of approximately 40 students.
  • For travelers: must have applied for the required licensure and have familiarity with the Aurora area, housing options, and travel logistics.
