Our organization is on the lookout for board-certified or board-eligible general/community neurologists. We welcome both recent graduates and seasoned mid-career professionals, all of whom will receive robust support.
Position Overview
This role is primarily outpatient-focused, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored treatment plans for patients.
- Our facility serves as the main teaching hospital for the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) Medical School, offering the chance for academic appointments based on experience.
- The neurology residency program accommodates 12 residents, providing educational experiences across all comprehensive treatment centers within the Neuroscience Institute.
- Numerous research opportunities are available, with a proven history of success; motivated candidates may also qualify for start-up funding.
- On-call duties are distributed among neurologists, promoting a balanced lifestyle supported by advanced practice providers (APPs).
- We utilize a fully integrated Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- As a non-profit entity, our employees are eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF).
