Responsibilities:
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for ensuring certified payroll reports are processed timely, accurately, and in compliance with county, state, and government laws.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- • Ensure accurate processing, recording, and reporting of the certified payroll records in compliance with multi-state prevailing wage requirements, federal Davis-Bacon and Related Acts.
- • Research, interpret, and enforce various sources of regulatory documentation pertaining to labor issues.
- • Monitor and review all certified payroll compliance documentation for all subcontractors performing on projects.
- • Input certified payroll records into client/awarding body labor compliance tracking software.
- • Prepare and submit WH347, state prevailing certified payroll forms as required per contract.
- • Review wage determination.
- • Maintain & resolve labor compliance discrepancies to avoid costly penalties in a timely and efficient manner.
- • Handle the filing and processing of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wage/Affidavit of Wages Paid.
- • Understand union fringes and calculations.
- • Serves as subject matter expert on all certified payroll reporting matters.
- • Establish and maintain consistent communication with internal customers.
- • Keep current with changes in prevailing wage requirements.
- • Assist with daily mail distribution.
- • Provide support for other payroll functions, as needed.
