Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A middle school opportunity is available for an experienced Special Education Teacher with expertise in ELA, focused on educating 7th-grade students in a co-teaching environment. This full-time, contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year and is based in Ft. Mitchell, KY.
Responsibilities include:
- Co-teaching ELA classes alongside a consistent partner teacher throughout the school day.
- Providing resource support and specialized instruction to approximately 15 students with mild to moderate disabilities.
- Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborating with team members to foster an inclusive classroom environment.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and munication with parents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience with co-teaching models and resource support.
- Strong skills in English Language Arts instruction.
- Ability to engage and support students with mild to moderate disabilities.
- Effective munication and teamwork skills.
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:40 AM to 2:40 PM.
- On-site instruction required.
- Contract length: Current school year.
