Part-Time | 27.5 Hours/Week | Contract Position

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to support student health services within a school setting in Evansville, IN. This part-time role offers a dedicated schedule from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, providing consistent hours that allow for work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on student well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care and health assessments to students within the school environment.
  • Manage acute and chronic health conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans.
  • Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state regulations.
  • Promote health education and safety protocols among students and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana required.
  • Experience in school nursing preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with children, parents, and educational staff.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
