Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Pre-KSpecial Education Teacherposition is available within a Round Lake, IL areaschool district. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential support to students with special needs, either in a resource or self-contained classroom setting.

Qualified candidates must hold a Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement, and early childhood endorsement

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs within resource or self-contained classrooms.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods accordingly.
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff to support student growth.
Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement.
Experience teaching special education students in Pre-K settings preferred.
Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and classroom management.
Ability to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families.
