Northern NJ fabrication shop is looking for Metal Finisher specializing in surface preparation located in Clifton, NJ
Related experience preferred but not required!!!!
The metal finisher/polisher will perform all grinding and polishing on Stainless steel and bring the product back to a #4 finish. This professional needs to be knowledgeable of metal removal and polishing methods and techniques, Standard Procedures. We are looking for someone reliable and willing to learn a new profession.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Receives and performs expertly all order requirements and metal finishing/polishing instructions.
- Undergoes specific training and instruction to achieve acceptable levels of skills, quality, and productivity.
- Performs routine equipment cleaning and maintenance programs.
- Communicates effectively with supervision and other operating personnel.
- Achieves goals/objectives established with supervision.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school education or equivalent.
- Previous Metal Polishing Experience is a PLUS.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
