About the Role
As an Optician at Granite Bay Vision Center Optometry, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the best eyewear solutions tailored to their needs. With at least one year of experience, you’ll bring your expertise in eyewear fitting, lens selection, and customer service to help our patients look and feel their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients in selecting the perfect frames and lenses based on their prescription, style, and lifestyle needs.
- Accurately measure and fit eyewear to ensure optimal comfort and vision.
- Educate patients on lens options, care, and maintenance of their eyewear.
- Perform adjustments and repairs to maintain the quality and fit of eyewear.
- Collaborate with our optometrists and team to provide a seamless and positive patient experience.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with optical standards and regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as an optician or in a related optical role.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a knack for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with optical equipment, lens options, and eyewear fitting techniques.
- Personality: A friendly, professional, and patient-focused individual who thrives in a team environment.
