We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Dispatcher to join our team on a contract basis in Battle Creek, Michigan. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing transportation schedules and ensuring smooth operations for participants. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and prior scheduling experience. 100% onsite, M-F, 8:30am-5pm. Attendance is crucial.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate transportation schedules for approximately 200 participants, ensuring timely and efficient service.
• Serve as the main point of contact for transportation-related inquiries and issues.
• Utilize scheduling software and tools, including Office Suite, to manage daily operations effectively.
• Collaborate with the Scheduling Coordinator to address participant needs and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies and healthcare-related requirements.
• Participate in onboarding and orientation processes to familiarize yourself with organizational systems and procedures.
• Communicate effectively in meetings and with team members to ensure alignment and clarity in operations.
• Adapt quickly to changing situations while maintaining a high level of organization.
• Prepare reports and updates as needed to support management in decision-making processes.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines during transportation planning and execution.
• Proven experience in scheduling or dispatching roles, preferably within healthcare or transportation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to dynamic situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort speaking in meetings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and basic Excel.
• Familiarity with scheduling systems and tools; experience with SharePoint is a plus.
• All candidates are required to undergo background checks and drug screenings, including compliance with vaccination requirements.
• Knowledge of healthcare protocols and standards is highly desirable.
• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
