Job Title: Pump Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled pump mechanic to disassemble, assemble, service, and repair various types of pumps. Ideal candidates will have experience in pump manufacturing or servicing and will be adept at reading blueprints and drawings. The role involves some lifting, and you will have your own workstation while occasionally collaborating with others.
Responsibilities
- Assemble reciprocating pumps and systems.
- Assemble centrifugal pumps and systems.
- Perform liquid nitrogen testing and hydrostatic pressure testing.
- Assemble expander packaged systems.
- Repair centrifugal and piston pumps, as well as expanders.
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and components.
- Clean and assemble equipment to oxygen service standards.
- Follow all relevant procedures and instructions.
- Work independently and collaboratively in the workshop.
- Ensure machinery is assembled and tested according to procedures and design criteria.
Essential Skills
- Understanding of rotating equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- 3-5 years of experience with hydraulics.
- Ability to use and read calipers and micrometers.
- Possession of metric tools and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in pump assembly.
- Knowledge of pump control systems.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, non-climate controlled shop during first shift hours, from 7:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime opportunities are available.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
