Job DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a dedicated Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our client's growing organization in Mission Valley. This role is perfect for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
In this position, you will handle a high volume of calls, assisting patients over the phone with scheduling, inquiries, and support. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in the healthcare field, develop new skills, and grow within a dynamic team!
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, answering inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient coordination with healthcare providers
- Verify insurance eligibility and process patient information accurately
- Assist with billing inquiries, payment processing, and resolving patient concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Document interactions and update electronic health records (EHR) as needed
Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Call center experience is highly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office at an intermediate level
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
Working Hours:
- Full-time
- Onsite
- Monday- Friday
- 8:00am-5:00pm PST
- No overtime hours

- Located in Mission Valley, San Diego
- Contract to hire role
- Compensation: $24.00 per hour
- Opportunity for pay increase upon conversion
