General Description:


We seek an experienced and results-driven VP of Marketing to lead QuickBox “QB” marketing initiatives within the dynamic multichannel third-party logistics industry. The ideal candidate will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. The role requires a deep understanding of B2B marketing, supporting strong selling processes (MEDDIC), supply chain solutions, and the competitive landscape of logistics services.


Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Strategic—Develop and implement strategic marketing plans aligned with the company's growth objectives and targets, optimizing QB’s service offerings. Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly.


  • Brand – Oversee brand positioning and messaging to ensure consistency across all channels. This will include developing and executing an annual plan for tradeshows, events, and Executive speaking engagement activities to enhance QB’s market presence.


  • Demand Generation – Ownership and accountability for the effectiveness as measured in our achievement of Sales Targets of digital marketing, content creation, events, and targeted campaigns to attract and retain customers. Led the Sales Development Resources “SDRs team,” which supports the direct selling team in engaging prospects, RFP responses, development of case studies, and exceptional presentations that facilitate lead generation and customer acquisition. The end-to-end Demand Generation Program will support Sales Play Systems and accelerate the Sales Process, which are anchored in our Qualification Framework MEDDICC.


  • Market Research: Conduct competitor analysis and monitor industry trends to identify new opportunities and candidates for abandonment and enhance QB's competitive advantage.


  • Digital – oversee SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and website content to drive inbound leads and enhance online visibility.


  • Public Relations - Oversees creating and distributing press releases and other PR materials. Create an annual goal for earned media and track results. The Director should also develop a plan for the QB C-Suite for speaking engagements that support lead generation and brand development. The use of C-Suite should be very thoughtful and valuable to our strategy.


  • Partnership: Oversee the relationship and development of QB’s chosen partners. This should be a limited group focused on the QB ICP and able to advance the QB brand in the marketplace. Any chosen partner will be measured using a scorecard to assess continued use.


  • Leadership – develop and manage an annual approved marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and measuring the ROI of investments in events, partners, and programs. Create a culture of creativity, collaboration, and high performance within the marketing team.


  • SDR Team Leadership and Development:

-Recruit, train, and mentor SDRs to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the 3PL market.

-Develop and implement training programs on industry-specific sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies.


  • SDR Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

-Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the SDR team and regularly assess their performance against these metrics.

-Provide regular feedback and coaching to SDRs to improve their effectiveness and productivity.

  • SDR Sales Process Optimization:

-Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine and optimize the sales process, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.

-Implement tools and technologies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the SDR team.


  • SDR Lead Management and Nurturing:

-Oversee the development and execution of lead nurturing strategies to convert prospects into qualified leads for the sales team.

-Ensure that SDRs are effectively managing and prioritizing leads to maximize conversion rates.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

-Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure that SDRs have the necessary resources and support to succeed.

-Facilitate communication and collaboration between the SDR team and other departments to align efforts and achieve common goals.


  • SDR Market and Industry Knowledge:


  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide the SDR team with relevant insights and guidance.


  • Ensure SDRs have up-to-date information about the company's offerings and competitive advantages

Requirements:

Job Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience leading a marketing team and process.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree

preferred).


  • Proven track record of successful partnership development and management in the eCommerce, logistics, or related industries.


  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills


  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.


  • Experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams.


  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce trends, fulfillment operations, and logistics is a plus.


  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through partnerships and alliances.
