About Us

Blackstone Eye Center is a growing, independently-owned optometry practice proudly serving Chester County and beyond. We’re not just about prescribing glasses — we’re building a future of eye care that blends medical excellence with innovative patient experiences.

If you’re a motivated optometrist who wants to love where you work, grow in your career, and make an impact, we’d love to meet you

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

  • Full-scope practice – From comprehensive exams to medical eye care, contact lenses, and specialty services.
  • Modern, Tech-Forward Practice – From advanced imaging and diagnostic equipment to innovative dry eye therapies and smart eyewear integration, you’ll practice at the forefront of optometry. We have a Visual Field, OCT, Optos, AR, Digital Lensometer, Topography & Meibography.
  • Collaborative Team Culture – We believe in mentorship, teamwork, and giving you the support, you need to focus on what you do best: caring for patients.
  • Professional Growth – Opportunities to specialize in dry eye, myopia control, or low vision services — and even leadership roles as we grow.
  • Flexible part-time schedule – Ideal for work-life balance (1–2 days per week).

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver comprehensive eye exams with an emphasis on patient education.
  • Manage and co-manage ocular disease cases with local specialists.
  • Provide specialty care including contact lenses, myopia management, and dry eye treatments.
  • Collaborate with our opticians and support staff to ensure patients receive seamless care.
  • Contribute to the growth of the practice by building strong patient relationships.
  • Treat various ocular conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, ulcers, uveitis and more

What We’re Looking For

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree with an active license in Pennsylvania (or eligibility).
  • Strong clinical skills with a passion for patient-first care.
  • Interest in specialty care (dry eye, myopia control, ocular disease treatment, specialty contacts) is a plus — but not required!
  • A team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
