Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to provide in-person therapy services to a diverse group of students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Located in Nellis AFB, NV, this full-time contract position offers the chance to work closely with approximately 40 students, supporting their communication development in a dynamic K-12 school setting.

Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. The role requires collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and to ensure each student receives tailored therapeutic interventions aimed at improving their academic and social communication skills. Maintaining accurate records and progress reports is also essential.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
  • Experience working with K-12 school-aged children
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable working in an in-person school environment

This contract position supports a full school year schedule, providing consistency and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within the educational setting. The role is based on-site, facilitating direct student interaction and collaboration with school staff.
