We’re looking for a detail-oriented, communicative Accounts Receivable Reimbursement Clerk to join our team. As a new role, this position offers the opportunity to not only manage reimbursement-related accounts receivable across our dealerships but also to identify areas for process improvement and provide strategic input for long-term efficiency. The role ensures records are accurate and reconciled each month, processes incoming and outgoing payments related to various programs, and partners with the Marketing team to manage manufacturer co-op submissions and related marketing expenses.
Experience & Qualifications Needed:
- 1–3 years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience required.
- Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Google Docs, and Windows systems; Tekion/DMS experience a plus.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and execute detailed instructions with accuracy.
- Skilled data entry accuracy, 10-key, and document organization/alphabetizing.
- Goal-oriented problem solver with a proactive, team-focused mindset.
- Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines while serving as a positive company representative.
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of incoming/outgoing payments and prepare weekly reconciliations for each dealership.
- Complete month-end closing processes for reimbursable funds, ensuring accurate expense and reimbursement reporting.
- Partner closely with the Marketing team to process purchase orders, invoices, and track marketing expenses and reimbursements.
- Submit, track, and reconcile manufacturer Co-op reimbursement programs, meeting deadlines and maximizing reimbursements.
- Monitor marketing budgets with dealership leaders, ensuring eligible expenses are properly documented for approval.
- Support additional accounting or administrative duties as assigned.
