Job Description
We are seeking experienced Plumber Mechanics and Lead Level professionals with a minimum of 3 years of experience. This role involves working on various jobs in Lynchburg, VA. The position requires proficiency in plumbing, installation, and maintenance tasks within a commercial construction environment.
Responsibilities
- Run and press copper, PVC, and cast iron pipe.
- Work effectively with a helper.
- Read blueprint drawings and install press copper, PVC, and cast iron pipe at the Journeyman level.
- Lead a crew consisting of a mechanic and a helper at the Lead Mechanic level.
- Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work sites.
- Perform labor duties related to installation, maintenance, and repair of various systems.
- Maintain clean work areas.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a commercial plumber.
- Proficiency in working with cast iron, copper, soldering, and new construction.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Journeyman or Master Plumbers License preferred.
- Capability to run a crew of 1-4 people.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with construction, plumbing, and commercial construction.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, general labor, and installation skills.
- Competence in handling hand tools and piping tasks.
- Ability to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.
- Capability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
