About the Role
Rehab Center LLC is seeking bilingual Physical Therapists to evaluate and treat patients with mobility, strength, balance, pain, functional movement, post-injury, post-surgical, or rehabilitation needs due to brain injuries. The Physical Therapist will conduct evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, provide direct treatment, document progress, and work closely with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy evaluations and assess mobility, strength, balance, range of motion, pain, gait, endurance, and functional limitations. For Spinal Cord Injuries, Stroke, Parkinson's Disease, polyneuropathies, hip and knee replacements, spinal osteoarthritis, and post-spine surgery rehabilitation.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable therapy goals.
- Provide direct physical therapy treatment based on patient needs, physician orders, and plan-of-care requirements.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as clinically appropriate.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, mobility techniques, fall prevention, and home programs.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
- Coordinate with physicians, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, case managers, and other care team members.
- Support patient engagement, retention, and positive clinical outcomes.
- Deliver culturally competent care to English- and Spanish-speaking patients.
- Follow all applicable clinical, privacy, compliance, and licensure standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Florida.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.
- Strong musculoskeletal, neurological, functional mobility, or rehabilitation assessment skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient-education skills.
- Experience working with bilingual and multicultural patient populations.
- Strong understanding of care-plan development, patient progression, and discharge planning.
- Ability to support patient satisfaction and continuity of care.
