Job Summary
Provide direct resident care and support daily living activities to help individuals maintain the highest possible level of independence and well-being. Assist with personal care, treatments, vital sign monitoring, documentation, and resident activities while working under the direction of nursing staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
- Support residents in maintaining independence and quality of life.
- Assist with treatments as delegated by nursing staff according to individualized care plans.
- Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and weight.
- Document care and services provided using electronic charting systems.
- Assist residents with scheduled programs and activities.
- Observe residents and report changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition to nursing staff.
- Follow established care plans and safety procedures.
- Maintain professional and compassionate interactions with residents and families.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current Nursing Assistant Certification.
- Ability to provide compassionate resident-centered care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to accurately document resident information.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Ability to observe and report changes in resident conditions.
- Minimum age requirement as required by regulations.
