About the Role
We are hiring for a New Construction Operations Coordinator to support our J&J Custom Homes division.
J&J Custom Homes focuses on delivering high-quality, custom residential projects with a strong emphasis on execution, communication, and client experience.
This is not a basic admin role.
This is a high-responsibility, multi-hat position where you will be expected to step in, take ownership, and help keep projects moving forward.

What This Role Is Actually Like

You will work across:
- Sales
- Management
- Office
- Field teams
- Clients
- Banks and lenders
You’ll act as a quarterback in training — helping keep communication aligned and projects on track. You will play a direct role in supporting the delivery of custom homes from concept through completion.
Core Responsibilities
Client & Project Intake
- Vet incoming clients and support onboarding
- Gather and organize documentation
- Help set expectations from the start
Office & Administrative Execution
- Process paperwork, permits, and job documentation
- Handle invoicing and assist with job financial tracking
- Keep files accurate and organized
- Maintain showroom and office presentation, ensuring materials, samples, and spaces are organized and client-ready
Bids & Financial Coordination
- Assist with bids and tracking
- Help coordinate bank draws and lender requirements
- Ensure documentation is complete and accurate
Project Coordination
- Support communication between sales, management, and field teams
- Help keep projects organized and moving forward
- Make sure details don’t get missed
Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with general office needs and perform other duties as assigned to support overall operations

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- 3 years in supporting in home services, residential remodeling or new construction is required
- Basic understanding of how construction jobs flow
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
Schedule & Expectations
- Standard hours are 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Some days may run longer depending on workload
- Consistency and reliability are expected
Compensation
- $18 – $23 per hour, based on experience
