Job DescriptionJob Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Analyst to support the Fires Development Group (FDG) as Key Personnel. This role focuses on validating, prioritizing, and analyzing Army force development requirements and modernization plans for Fires capabilities. The ideal candidate will have doctrinal, operational, and technical expertise in Army Air and Missile Defense and Fire Support units, programs, and CONOPS.
Responsibilities
- Support Army modernization efforts for Fires capabilities including:
- Joint Theater Air and Missile Defense (JTAMD)
- Directed Energy Systems
- Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS)
- Short Range Air Defense (SHORAD)
- Long Range Artillery, Cannons, and Missiles
- Strategic Fires
- Validate and prioritize force development requirements
- Analyze modernization plans and ensure feasibility within Army strategic goals
- Collaborate with Army, Joint, and OSD staffs to develop strategic-level products
- Provide support for briefings, working groups, and decision forums
- Maintain and update leadership smart books and strategic communication materials
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business or Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Force Development or related duties
- Experience at senior Army levels such as HQDA, MACOMs, or Army Service Component Commands
- Top Secret (TS) clearance is mandatory
- Expertise in Army Fires systems and operational concepts
Preferred Skills & Expertise
- Interdisciplinary knowledge of:
- Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE)
- DoD acquisition processes (DoDI 5000.2)
- Materiel and force structure requirements development and validation (JCIDS)
- Experience applying force development across DOTMLPF-P domains in fiscally constrained environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- RQM 1010 / CLR 101: Introduction to JCIDS
- RQM 1100 / RQM 110: Core Concepts for Requirements Management / CDC

- RQM 2500 / CLR 250: Capabilities-Based Assessments
- RQM 2520 / CLR 252: Developing Performance Attributes
