Job DescriptionPermit Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Permit Coordinator to support permitting and inspection activities for residential and light commercial projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an administrative environment, excels at multitasking, and provides excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Contact homeowners to schedule inspections and coordinate access as needed
Prepare and send certified mail and other official correspondence
Track permit and inspection statuses, maintaining accurate records and documentation
Provide professional customer service, including follow-up with homeowners, inspectors, and internal teams
Perform general administrative duties, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Assist with document preparation, including mail merge for notices and communications (preferred)
Qualifications
Strong administrative and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Customer-service focused with a professional phone presence
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); Mail Merge experience preferred
Prior experience in permitting, construction, or administrative coordination is a plus
