This opportunity is for an Occupational Therapist to support students in a dynamic school environment in Aurora, CO. The role involves working directly with children to enhance their physical, sensory, and cognitive skills, helping them succeed in their educational settings. This position includes travel to various school sites within the area, offering a varied and engaging daily routine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to meet student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Implement therapeutic interventions focusing on improving fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living activities
- Document student progress and participate in regular team meetings
- Provide consultative services to staff regarding adaptive equipment and classroom modifications
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school locations
