Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers a contract opportunity for a Physical Therapist to provide leave coverage from April 6 to May 22. The role involves full-time hours serving students from PreK through high school in a K-12 school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide itinerant therapy services across six school sites, supporting approximately 55 students with physical and multiple disabilities ranging from mild to severe.
• Deliver therapy in alignment with individual education plans (IEPs) and utilize pediatric mobility equipment effectively.
• Manage scheduling and provide PTA support at the three largest schools within the assignment.
• Collaborate with educational staff to support student needs and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts.

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification is required.
• Previous experience working in Colorado schools, especially with IEP writing and pediatric mobility equipment.
• Ability to travel between multiple sites efficiently.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
