Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager or Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple retail branches. This role is responsible for managing store activities, supervising staff, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring a consistent and exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills suited to a dynamic retail environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership

  • Supervise all retail branch operations, ensuring adherence to brand and operational standards.
  • Lead and coach retail staff to achieve performance targets and maintain engagement.
  • Communicate store goals, updates, and operational directives across all branches.

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and store opening/closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, standard operating procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate directly with mall administration for leasing and operational matters concerning branch locations.
  • Work collaboratively with HR on incidents and staffing concerns within stores and the head office.

Customer Service

  • Foster a customer-centric environment by ensuring staff consistently deliver excellent service.
  • Handle and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and feedback, ensuring coordination with the Customer Service team.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Generate and submit operational reports on sales performance, staff productivity, and store issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on employee schedules, performance evaluations, and training progress.
  • Monitor and ensure availability and maintenance of store essentials such as POS terminals, computers, scanners, internet connections, CCTV systems, and security tools.
  • Coordinate daily product deliveries with sales associates to ensure smooth flow of merchandise.

Scheduling and Time Management

  • Develop and manage store staffing schedules according to operational needs and peak times.
  • Handle schedule adjustments, shift substitutions, and time-off requests efficiently.
  • Ensure timely store openings and proper employee attendance coverage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with retail systems and processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
