We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to assist the CEO of one of our clients in New York, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, overseeing transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of accounting data. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, prior experience supporting UHNW individuals in a family office or corporate position and professionalism to support key business operations.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and organize transactions efficiently.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.
• Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to manage accounting data and generate reports.
• Collaborate closely with the company owner to provide insights and support for financial decision-making.
• Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for internal review.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting to help align financial goals with business objectives.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement appropriate solutions.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting for a UHNW individual, family office, or corporate environment.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of accuracy.
• Effective communication skills with a focus on attention to detail.
