We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Fairfield, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in supporting various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth communication across departments. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while managing essential day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
• File claims with Apple Support and coordinate directly with freight carriers such as FedEx.
• Organize and update orders using Excel and other database tools to maintain accurate records.
• Communicate with departments including Purchasing and Warehouse to manage order substitutions, cancellations, and refunds.
• Complete and process forms while ensuring information is accurately maintained across different systems.
• Answer inbound calls professionally and provide assistance or route inquiries appropriately.
• Perform receptionist duties, including welcoming visitors and managing front desk operations.
• Support data entry tasks to ensure timely and accurate input of information.
• Collaborate with team members to address administrative needs and streamline workflows.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Proven experience in administrative support or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in using Excel and database management tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with data entry and maintaining accurate records.
• Attentive approach and ability to handle inbound calls effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Comfort working collaboratively across multiple departments.
