J&O Doors is looking for a reliable, highly skilled Box Truck Driver to navigate our 26-foot trucks from our Northvale, NJ headquarters through Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the greater Tri-State area. This isn't just a "sit behind the wheel" job—this is a hands-on, high-stamina role for a local route expert who isn't afraid of heavy lifting and wants steady, reliable work.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Early Starts: Kick off your day at 5:00 AM to beat the worst of the Tri-State traffic.
- Expert Navigation: Safely maneuver a 26-foot box truck through tight NYC boroughs (Brooklyn, Manhattan) and Long Island routes.
- Hands-On Delivery: Roll up your sleeves and help unload garage doors and heavy materials at commercial and residential job sites.
- Customer Representation: Serve as the face of the company on-site, using strong English communication skills to coordinate with dispatch and clients.
What We Need From You:
- Experience: Proven track record driving a 26-foot box truck specifically in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Tri-State area. (You must know the routes, bridge clearances, and cut-throughs!)
- Physical Stamina: Ability and willingness to handle heavy lifting and assist with loading/unloading every single day.
- Reliability: You are punctual, dependable, and ready to roll at 5 AM sharp.
- Communication: Clear and effective English speaking skills to handle delivery logistics.
- License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required, but commercial driving experience is a must).
