Our client is a leading provider of home services, building brands that support the success of their franchisees, as well as bettering the lives of the homeowners they serve and the people they employ.
The Revenue Operations Manager will report directly into the VP of Finance Operations and need to be detail-oriented, have a strong understanding of best practices in revenue and billing processes, and have the ability to independently manage relationships with multiple franchise brands.
They will oversee the entire process of billing, tracking, and collecting royalties and other revenue streams owed by franchisees — ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with franchise agreements.
Responsibilties
- Manage the full revenue lifecycle: from the moment a new franchise is onboarded, through billing setup, to ongoing monthly invoicing and collections.
- Own revenue integrity: making sure every brand's revenue is billed according to contract terms and reflected correctly in the financial systems.
- Partner cross-functionally: with Operations (franchise support) and the VP of Finance Ops on things like contract changes, fee updates, and systems/process improvements.
- Handle collections: following up on failed or overdue payments, managing payment plans, and maintaining low AR balances.
Qualifications
- 2-6 years of experience with Billing/AR/Revenue Management
- Strong Excel skills
- Understanding of and experience with Contracts (interpreting them and actioning them correctly)
- Ability to navigate Financial Statements – Balance Sheet vs. Income Statement, how everything flows through from Franchise Contracts to Royalty & Fees to Unpaid Invoices (AR) to Financial Statements (Income Statement with the Revenue and Balance Sheet with AR)
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks without getting overwhelmed and able to have hard conversations – reach out to an upset franchise owner, discuss payment plan options, etc.
- Skilled with creating relationships with franchise owners, who are often stressed out that they owe money/royalties or aren't being billed properly or various other issues.
- Experience working within the franchising or multi-brand business model highly preferred but not required.
