Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare facility in Marion, SC, is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to support their imaging department. This contract position offers a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, specifically Friday through Sunday (Friday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.). Weekend availability is required, with some on-call duties expected. The role requires proficiency with Philips Ingenuity MRI equipment and utilizes Epic for charting.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of MRI technologist experience preferred; first-timers may be considered
- Certifications required: BLS, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT
- Experience with Philips Ingenuity MRI equipment essential
- No radiation badge needed
- Ability to work a block schedule may be accommodated upon approval
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Perform high-quality MRI imaging in accordance with facility protocols and patient safety standards
- Operate Philips Ingenuity MRI systems effectively
- Document procedures and patient information accurately using Epic electronic charting
- Collaborate with medical staff to meet imaging needs during scheduled shifts without float requirements
- Adhere to infection control and safety regulations, especially during hurricane season
Schedule/Hours:
- 3x12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Friday: 10 a.m. 10 p.m.
- Saturday & Sunday: 9 a.m. 9 p.m.

- No local candidates accepted; relocation or travel within a 60-mile radius may be necessary

- The facility is a tertiary care center with 283 staffed beds
- Hurricane season runs June through November, and all staff may be assigned emergency response roles
