Position Overview
The General Maintenance / Carpenter will support a wide variety of construction and maintenance projects, including new home builds, property turns, repairs, and installations. This role requires a motivated, hands-on individual who can work across multiple trades including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, and general home maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Confident in cutting CROWN MOLDING and trim.
- Perform property turns by repairing and preparing homes for new residents.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot basic appliance issues.
- Install cabinets, flooring, and other fixtures.
- Perform painting, drywall, and finishing work.
- Assist with basic plumbing and electrical repairs and installations.
- Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and organized.
- Follow company and safety procedures on all projects.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in residential construction or general maintenance preferred.
- Skilled in a variety of trades including carpentry, flooring, painting, plumbing, and electrical.
- Ability to diagnose and repair appliances is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and handle physically demanding tasks.
