Occupational Therapist – Certified Hand Specialist

We’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our collaborative rehabilitation team.
A Certified Hand Specialist would be an incredible addition, but we’re equally open to outstanding OTs who are passionate about upper-extremity care and want to grow into that specialty.
About the Role:
This position is based at our Sandy Springs office, where you’ll treat a primarily workers’ compensation and personal injury population, along with general orthopedic cases.
The current team includes 13 Occupational Therapists and across the system, with 1 OT currently at this locationwith room to expand to 1.5–2 FTEs due to strong patient demand.
You’ll typically see 10–12 patients per day, focusing mostly on hands and elbows, with a mix of post-operative and chronic cases.
Many of our OTs also fabricate custom splints onsite.
Documentation and scheduling are managed in Athena.
Collaboration:
You’ll work closely with Physical Therapists to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions for shared patients. Co-treatment occurs as needed, with each discipline completing its own evaluation and documentation.
Requirements:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in Georgia
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred but not required
- Experience in hand and upper extremity therapy strongly preferred
- Strong documentation and time-management skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
